With the garbage disposal safely turned off, and kitchen gloves on for safety, carefully search the drain for any food, silverware, or other substances that may be stuck. Then, clean your garbage disposal with hot running water to make sure any lingering residues are gone.
Is Your Garbage Disposal Not Turning On?
You flip the switch to turn on your garbage disposal, but nothing happens. You may hear a noise or two, but the mess in your sink stays right where it is.
