Affinity Washing Machine Troubleshooting

Affinity washing machine is some of the most affordable front load washing machines on the market. It shouldn’t be surprising then that they are some of the worst ones available. It is great if what you are looking for simple but effective. Because of the low quality, it is more likely to face problems than other washing machines that may be more expensive but are much more reliable than this specific type of washing machine.

Strange Noises

A washing machine will always let you know when there is a problem. One of the main ways that it does this is through noises. Basically, if your Affinity washing machine is rattling, vibrating and making excessively strange noises, you need to turn it off and try to identify the problem. The First thing you need to do is make sure the Affinity washing machine is on a flat surface. Washing machines don’t like being on uneven surfaces, and will cause them to rattle in ways it’s not meant to rattle in. Also, check to see if there is any loose coins or any items that aren’t clothes inside of the washing machine. It also doesn’t hurt to redistribute the clothes, just to make sure that the large load isn’t the problem.

Won’t Start

If your Affinity washing machine won’t start, then the first thing that you need to do is check all power sources and plugs to make sure that the problem is just an easy fix such as switching the power source on. Also, check the water faucets to make sure that there is water available to be used. If all of these things are good and it still won’t work then there are likely internal problems, and in that case, it is better that you call an electrician. If you mess with it and damage it more then that’ll just add even more stress.

Not Spinning

If your Affinity washing machine isn’t spinning then the likely problem is that the load is too small. A washing machine won’t spin if the load is too small, so try and find more clothes to stick in there and see if that helps. On the flip side, if the clothes are too wet then it is likely that there is too many clothes in there and the water isn’t able to escape because it’s trapped by the excessive clothes. Simply remove some clothes and that should help.
