Frigidaire Dishwasher Troubleshooting

The Frigidaire dishwasher comes with a built in diagnostic system. With a series of error codes that display the current issues experienced by your machine here are some of the most common error codes that display to help you with troubleshooting your Frigidaire Dishwasher.

1. Error Code “i10” – Low fill
Check your water supply line for pinches and if the water is fully opened to the dishwasher.

2. Error Code “i20,i40,iF0” – Drain line error or clogged filters
Clean the filters and check them for any clogs. Check your drain hose for pinches or blocks.

3. Error Code “i30” – Leak or overflow in the bottom pan
Check the water inlet valve for any loose connections. Make sure your device is leveled.

4. Error Code “i50” / “i60” / “iC0” / – Drain or wash motor error / Water heating system error / Electronic control system error
Cancel your cycle and restart. If the problem persists, turn your machine on and off (wait at least 1 minute in between).

5. Error Code “UO” / “UF – Vent is open / Fan error
Check for any loose wires between the vent assembly and the control board. In case the wiring seems to be undamaged, replace the vent assembly. If the error persists, replace the main control board.

6. Error Code “ER” – Membrane switch error
A button seems to have been stuck for more than 1 minutes. Check the keypad for any stuck buttons. Check the connection between the keypad and the main control board. In case there are no loose wires or connection problems, replace the keypad. If the error persists, replace the main control board.

7. Error Code “CE” – Configuration error
Check if you have set the next cycle correctly. If the problem is not settings related, check the connection between the keypad and the main control board. In case there are no loose wires or connection problems, replace the keypad. If the error persists, replace the main control board.

8. Error Code “CL” – Door is not closed properly
Check if the door is closed properly. Check your door switches for damages and the wiring between the switches and the main control board. If the problem persists, replace the main control board.

9. Error Code “hs” – Hall sensor error
Check the wiring between the main control board and the motor for any loose wires or damages. If it seems to be undamaged, replace the motor. In case the error persists, replace the main control board.

10. Error Code “PF” – Power failure
There was a power failure detected by the machine. Check your house wirings.

11. Error Code “tu” – Turbidity sensor error
Check the wiring between the main control board and the turbidity sensor. In case there are no damages, replace the turbidity sensor. If the problem persists, replace the main control board.

12. Error Code “rA” – Rinse aid error
Refill the rinse and the dispenser. In case the error persists, check the wiring between the dispenser and the main control board. If the wiring is damaged, replace the dispenser component. If the problem persists, replace the main control board.
