Homeowners today often deal with drain issues by using harmful, toxic chemical cleaning products that only damage pipes and don’t clear the issue. Some others use traditional tools like plungers and augers, but these tools may not be powerful or far-reaching enough to unclog your drains. In this situation, professional hydrojetting may be the best solution.

What Is Hydrojetting?

What is Hydrojetting?

Hydrojetting uses a high powered hose to unclog a drain. The nozzle is small and shoots highly pressurized water. We have a variety of different nozzles to help with various types of clogs and buildups. The water comes out so fast that only a professional should handle a hydrojetter. A typical power-washer used to clean outdoors runs at about 2,000 psi (pounds per square inch), while some hydrojetters reach 10 or 20 times that pressure. The water shoots out of the specialized head forwards and towards the sides of the pipes. This is enough to propel the hose down your pipe to wherever the clog is and clear it.

Why is it so Great?

There are a lot of reasons. First, this is a green solution to a clogged drain. You won’t have to worry about toxic chemicals because the only thing going down your drain is water, which is exactly what a drain is designed to handle! It’s also more precise than other methods. Using our video camera drain inspection, we can pinpoint the exact problem area of the clog and plan how to remove it using the hydrojetter, or even traditional methods, if that would be easier. Lastly, it’s quick. A hydrojetting drain clearing typically takes an hour to complete, so you won’t have to deal with a lack of water access for days or plumbers constantly in your home. Our video inspection pinpoints the problem, the hydrojetter fixes it, and we’ll be out of your home before you know it!

What Can It Clear Away?

Hydrojetting is not only useful for removing clogs like hair, food, or grease. It can also completely clean the inside of your pipe of mineral deposits, and even tree roots. Traditional drain clearing methods simply aren’t powerful enough to accomplish this.

Don’t pour toxic chemical cleaners down your drain. They won’t clear your clog. Do use a plunger or auger. They’re great for local clogs that are close to the drain, but if you can’t unclog your drain, then you need professional assistance.
