1. Error Code “bE”
A button is stuck on the control panel. Go through the buttons of the control panel and push all buttons to free the stuck one. In case the button cannot be freed, your control panel needs to be replaced.
2. Error Code “Od”
Drying time was too long. Disconnect your dryer from electricity. Check your wire connections and reconnect any loose wires. In case the wire harness seems to be damaged, replace the harness. Check the moisture sensor bar also, if it seems to be damaged, replace the component.
3. Error Code “Et”
There is an error with the control board. To reset your control board, disconnect your machine from electricity and wait for at least 10 minutes. In case the problem persists after resetting your electronic control board, replace the faulty component.
4. Error Code “tS” or “tO”
There is an error with the temperature sensor, your thermistor might be shorted, or your thermistor is stuck open electrically. Disconnect your machine from electricity and test your thermistor’s resistance by using a meter. In case the resistance is 40,000+ ohms the thermistor needs to be replaced. In case the resistance is around 10,000 ohms, check the wire harness for any damaged or loose wires. In case it is damaged, replace the harness. If the harness is undamaged and the resistance seems to be correct, there might be a problem with your electronic control board. Replace the component based on your findings.
5. Error Code “dO” / “dF”
The door is in an opened position / the circuit of your door has a failure. Check the door of the dryer and make sure it is shut. In case the problem persists, disconnect your machine from electricity and check for any loose wires around the door switch and reconnect them. If the harness seems to be damaged, replace it. In case the harness seems to be undamaged and there are no loose wires, your door switch needs to be replaced.
6. Error Code “FE”
The frequency of your power supply is out of range. Make sure the dryer receives the appropriate power. In case the problem persists, replace the electronic control board.
7. Error Code “HE” / “hE” (Gas Dryers)
There is an issue with the heating. Check if the gas valve is in an opened position. Disconnect your machine from electricity and look for any loose wires. In case the wire harness is damaged, replace the component.
8. Error Code “HE” / “hE” (Electric Dryers)
There is an issue with the heating. Check if the circuit breaker of the dryer has tripped. Disconnect your machine from electricity and look for any loose wires. In case the wire harness is damaged, replace the component. Check if the heating element is damaged and replace it if needed.
